Hannah Törnell Wettermark
Flautist Hannah Törnell Wettermark was born in Åmål, Sweden, and moved to Gothenburg to study for her Bachelors in Fine Arts at the Academy of Music and Drama. She currently balances a successful and varied freelance career with her home life in Södertälje with her husband and son.
Hannah gained Masters Degrees from both the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg, and at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire.
Hannah is regularly engaged by most of the Swedish orchestras, including the Gothenburg Symphony, the Swedish Radio and the Stockholm Philharmonic. She was awarded a trial for Solo-Flute in the Gävle Symphony Orchestra in 2010 and most recently completed a trial for Sub-Principal in the Jönkoping Sinfonietta. In addition to performing contemporary music with Mimitabu, Hannah is a member of Curious Chamber Players.
